CMBC MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
There are many good reasons to join the Central Maine Brittany Club. The only club in Maine specific to the Brittany dog, membership is extended to all with an interest in enjoying their Brittany to the fullest and bringing out it's best potential. Perhaps you are the proud owner of a new Brittany and are looking for ways to have the best possible relationship with your dog. Or, maybe like many CMBC members you already enjoy your Brittany as a hunting companion, field trial competitor, show dog prospect, a participant in agility, flyball, or obedience, breeder, and of course as your family pet. CMBC is here to help you not only enjoy your Brittany more fully, but to also introduce you to other responsible dog owners like yourself and have fun at the various events throughout the year, some of which are highlighted throughout this site in various photographs, slideshows, etc. CMBC cares about meeting the needs of all it's members in the best way possible while promoting the Brittany as a dual dog. Based on feedback from members and other Brittany owners CMBC is now involved with hosting pointing dog training clinics and it is expected this will continue on a regular basis. Additionally, the club offers opportunities for young junior hunters to be involved with youth trials and training as well. CMBC recognizes the importance of providing opportunities to the next generation to learn about bird hunting, field events, and to carry on the great tradition of hunting with a Brittany. If you are already a member - thank you for your ongoing support.
CMBC extends an invitation to YOU to join and/or to renew your membership below!

Sam works alongside of our Secretary/Treasurer Kim Tees to be sure that your membership application and/or dues are processed in a timely manner.
If you are interested in applying for membership, Sam is the person to get in touch with. He may be contacted by clicking here and simply writing his name in the subject line! Sam is also the person to contact regarding where to send your membership application and/or renewal information accompanied by your check for dues.
CMBC maintains a list of all current members including the date when their membership dues need to be paid. This list is distributed frequently to all members. If you are a full regular member receiving the beautiful American Brittany Club monthly magazine, the date that your membership expires is included on the mailing label. In order to remain a current member, dues should be paid in advance of that date to provide time enough for her to communicate this to the American Brittany Club, assuring you that your magazine subscription continues while remaining a member in good standing.
Your membership dues directly supports the ongoing activities of the Central Maine Brittany Club. Members in good standing have voting privledges regarding the ABC (parent club) and the CMBC (regional club) in most situations effecting members. A member in good standing often receives ballots from the parent club regarding important issues of concern to Brittany owners and members. Renewing your CMBC membership is very easy. Simply follow all of the steps above as indicated previously. As stated above, for questions regarding club membership, renewal, dues payments etc. please contact Vice President of Membership, Sam Jackson. Additionally, Kim Tees maintains a database of all current members and distributes this via email to correspond with each update. CMBC's membership list is only distributed to it's members and to the American Brittany Club.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the club! |
