" The Central Maine Brittany Club fall trial was held at the Brownfield grounds September 11,12. The weather was very good with sunny skies and moderate temperatures on Saturday and overcast skies on Sunday. Birds were plentiful, well feathered and flew strongly. After the running on Saturday, the Donna Pride Amateur Puppy award was presented, the Dwight "Pete" Jordan amateur derby award, and the Founder's trophy to the winner of the amateur gundog stake. A wonderful chicken barbeque was enjoyed by handlers and guests."
